Join us on June 11, 2026 for the 17th Annual Route 50 Mile! This fast, fun, and family-friendly race draws runners and spectators from across the Capital Region, kicking off the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Flag Day Parade with an electrifying community spirit. With over 300 runners and thousands of cheering fans in 2025, we’re ready to make 2026 even bigger. More than just a race, this cherished tradition supports CAPTAIN CHS’s vital programs, providing food, housing, and crisis services to those in need. Be part of this incredible event that celebrates fitness, community, and giving back!

All Runner Details
Start: Just North of Gil’s Garage and Upstate Detailing, at the intersection of Kingsley Road and Route 50 in Burnt Hills, NY. Registration is available in the parking lot of Ballston Lake Family Dental at 818 Saratoga Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027.
Finish: Designer Interiors of Ballston, 711 Saratoga Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027 - across the former Stewart’s. Ice cream served at the end of the race.
Course: There is a drop of 48 feet over the course of the mile. Split times provided at each quarter mile. The course has been fully certified by USATF Adirondack.
Registration Fees: Before 6/6/26: Individual Runner ($22); Family of Four Runners ($55); Family of Five Runners ($70); June 6, 2026 and after (including day-of): Individual Runner ($24); Family of Four Runners ($60); Family of Five Runners ($77)
Parking: Available at O’Rourke Middle School (173 Lakehill Road, Burnt Hills, NY 12027). Limited parking may be available at the BH-BL High School (88 Lakehill Road). Please note the parade setup is at the High School and you may be unable to exit the lot easily.
Parade: The BH-BL Business & Professional Association’s Flag Day Parade follows the race at 7:00 pm. Finish: Free ice cream!
Runner Awards: Winners in youth categories (age 1-18) receive an award. Winner in adult categories (age 19-99) receive an award. All others receive medals.

-Begins at 5:00 pm at the starting line and ends promptly at 6:30 pm.The first 250 registrants receive a commemorative dri-fit-style t-shirt. *Sizes not guaranteed after May 1, 2026.
